Since Monkey Joe’s began franchising in 2007, Trevelino/Keller has been tasked with developing and implementing its B2B and B2C PR and marketing strategies, including press release development, ongoing national and local market media support and the ideation and execution of quarterly campaigns.  As part of our work with the brand, T/K supports more than 50 local markets, including grand opening events, charity partnerships and national campaign support, which has resulted in successful print and broadcast placements.  In addition to ongoing local market support, T/K developed Monkey Joe’s Birthday Party, one of the company’s most successful system-wide marketing and customer appreciation campaigns.  Due to the success of this event, Monkey Joe’s saw a 9.31 percent increase in sales system-wide compared to the same day the year prior, with some locations reaching more than a 150 percent increase in sales.  In addition to traditional marketing campaigns, T/K established national charity partnerships with the American Heart Association and Alex’s Lemonade Stand to raise funds for these organizations inside Monkey Joe’s facilities.  T/K was instrumental in forging these partnerships and executing in-store campaigns from ideation to implementation.
