With an eye on acquisition, FactorTrust turned to Trevelino/Keller to raise raising the profile of their work as an alternative credit bureau focused on the underbanked population. Using content tactics including the creation of the quarterly Underbanked Index, we painted a vibrant, media-genic picture of the needs of this population segment’s access to credit. With national and industry coverage around how FactorTrust provides the data surrounding the underbanked market, the Big 3 took notice. Ultimately, FactorTrust was acquired in late 2017 by Transunion.
