Before Raving Brands existed in 2003, it operated under Wow Brands and owned Moe’s Southwest Grill (50 stores) and Planet Smoothie (100 stores). Three years later and 300 million media impressions, Trevelino/Keller positioned Moe’s as the lead horse in the Raving Brands portfolio and in doing so, made Martin Sprock the most influential personality in the fast casual restaurant industry. During our five year run, Moe’s would climb from 50 to 350 stores with another 300 plus in development. It received virtually every form of recognition including Hot Concept of the Year. Martin Sprock walked away with Entrepreneur of the Year, 50 to Watch, Fast 50, Inc 500 and more recognition that would eventually lead to the founder’s exist strategy and the sale of Moe’s for more than $110 million.
