TK’s Holiday Wish List

From fitness and technology gadgets to travel, Trevelino/Keller’s employees have a few recommendations for you or anyone on your gift list.

The fitness-focused gals @hlgfsu and @lisaawilliams, are buzzing about the FitBit. It’s affordable, stylish and will keep you on track with your fitness goals. @kperdue would like an elliptical to maintain her running workout on days when she isn’t up for the rain or cold.

@cwcrabill is such a pillow gal that she’d obviously like to take naps at work. She’s eying the Ostrich Pillow.

For those with kids in mind, @gkeller recommends Micro World – The Village. It’s Lego’s version of the world of Minecraft. But, good luck finding it. Apparently it has been sold out for a while!

Of course, travel is always a great holiday gift idea. @LibbyPanke recommends airline tickets so you can hit up all the great places National Geographic recommends for 2014. @JasonGilbreth is looking for more of a road trip style vacation to support his favorite Atlanta Braves. Spring Training is always a great excuse to visit Florida that time of year. @emgraciaa recommends bluetooth speakers as the perfect travel companion.

And while you are on the road, you’ll want to use the camera that is topping the list for @codywellons this year, the Sony A7. It’s the smallest and lightest interchangeable lens full frame camera on the market. But it comes with a high price tag, so you may want to pre-order the Tile app that @KristySchey recommends. You download the app to your phone and order tracking tiles. You can put the tiles on anything – suitcase, wallet, camera, etc. and never worry about losing anything again.

While @C_murphy33 says her wish was fulfilled the minute her FSU Seminoles made it to the national championship, she is also dreaming of the Nike Verdana golf clubs for when weekends get just a little warmer.

For those planning a staycation this year let’s focus a little on all things for the home. @lshankman recommends Philips Hue light bulbs. Think mood lighting powered by the internet. Using apps like “IFTT” you can set the lights to adjust to the weather, special occasion or even flash when you get a Twitter message. @savannahweeks recommends the Chromecast which lets you play audio and video on a HDTV by streaming it via wi-fi.  For those thinking about cooking up a few great meals during you extended time at home, @TannerLatham recommends Mastering the Art of Southern Cooking by Nathalie Dupree and Cynthia Graubart. This cookbook won the James Beard Award this year and is, quite simply, the biblical accounting of all things in Southern cooking. Think pie crusts, biscuits, fried chicken and lots and lots of stories.  And you can’t talk about pie crusts and biscuits without thinking of coffee, so the The Keurig K10 Mini Plus Coffee Maker makes a great addition to anyone’s list. @colliff placed the retro yellow one high on her wish list this year.
